What is free, and what needs DinnerJoy+?

The pantry, curated dinner ideas, family voting, and cook mode all work on your device, offline, at no cost. DinnerJoy+ unlocks fresh AI-generated dinner ideas and cross-device family sharing. Plans are $2.99 weekly, $5.99 monthly, or $39.99 annually, and renew automatically until cancelled.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose DinnerJoy. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.

I reinstalled and lost DinnerJoy+

Open the DinnerJoy+ screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

Someone in my family joined but cannot get AI dinners

Family members inherit DinnerJoy+ from whoever set up the household. Make sure they joined with the household's invite code from the Family screen, and that the owner's subscription is active.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. This removes your account and the household data associated with it from our backend. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.

Are the AI recipes safe for allergies?

Always read the full ingredient list yourself. AI-generated dinners are suggestions, not allergen-checked recipes, and the app shows a reminder to double-check them. If someone in your household has a serious allergy, rely on your own judgement.
